Fluid Digital new Manchester city centre HQ – Q&A with managing director Adam Hindle

Fluid Digital has invested in a new Manchester city centre HQ so it can be closer to the North’s digital hub, attract the best talent as it grows further and provide a good working environment for staff. In this Q&A managing director Fluid explains what the move to Hilton Street, Manchester will mean for clients and staff.

Fluid has been based in Bury, Greater Manchester for several years, why move now?

AH: Fluid has always attracted clients from the Manchester area as well as staff and we’ve always had meeting rooms based there but it has become more and more obvious that Manchester city centre is where we need our HQ to be. The ecommerce talent pool is small and as specialists in this area we want the best staff. Now we have reached a good size in terms of turnover the time is right to invest in this move and the idea is that it will also support the future growth that we want to see.

On a personal level, I’ve always loved Manchester and even got married at Manchester Town Hall so this is a move that I’ve wanted for a long time and hopefully it will pay dividends.

What will the move mean for your clients?

AH: Our office in Bury was very swish but the town couldn’t’ compete with what the Northern Quarter has to offer. We hope coming to see Fluid will be even more of a treat and if we take you out for lunch you will be spoilt for choice! We also hope to be able to bring even more to your table in terms of great results and service as our team grows.

What do you staff feel about the move

AH: Excited! We are a young team so the buzz of the Northern Quarter is very attractive to our staff and the great transport links will also make life easier. Our numerous resident vegans will also love the choice of eateries open to them (can we tag a couple of places?!

Our staff are passionate about what they do but I feel as though the Manchester move is a catalyst for even better things and looking ahead the future will hopefully be very bright for us and our clients!
