2002

Early years

Founder Adam Hindle set up and sold his first online business by the time he was 20, and soon began building websites for other small businesses.

2009

Fluid is born

With demand increasing, Adam set up Fluid Digital in 2009 from his hometown of Bury and was quickly joined by technical director Matt Edwards. They were united by a shared interest in ecommerce, the growth opportunity it represented for retailers, and the kick each of them got from transforming someone’s business.

2016

The expansion

Fluid expanded to include a performance marketing team in order to have a more measurable impact on clients.

2019

Fluid moves to Manchester

We relocate from Bury to Manchester’s tech-forward Northern Quarter and became one of the first agencies in the UK to launch an Advertising for Amazon service.

2020

Digital to Commerce

Fluid repositioned itself as Fluid Commerce, added Paid Social as a service, and brought in Rob Pimlott who has over 17 years of client-side ecommerce expertise.

2023

Ecommerce market leaders

Following another office move in 2023 to Ancoats, the epicentre of Manchester’s tech community, Fluid has cemented its purpose to deliver exceptional work that helps transform retail brands into market leaders.
