Digital industry heavyweight joins Fluid Digital

Digital industry heavyweight Richard Gregory has joined Fluid Digital as a non-executive director to support the agency’s continued growth.

E-commerce specialist Fluid Digital has already seen turnover grow by more than 90 per cent in the last financial year. This growth is due to the successful launch of a pay-per-click marketing team, existing clients becoming more successful and requiring additional services and a number of new client wins. However, the agency has ambitious plans to grow further which Richard’s expertise will help it to achieve.

Commenting on his appointment Richard, who spent 12 years at multi-million-pound agency Latitude, three of which were at its helm, said: “It’s an exciting time in Fluid Digital’s story and they have already made a name for themselves as a leading light in the e-commerce sector. Fluid’s specialist expertise in e-commerce presents many opportunities in terms of growing its market share at a time when online sales have never been more important to retailers. I hope to help Fluid to exploit these opportunities fully and realise their potential.”

Adam Hindle, managing director of Bury and Manchester-based Fluid Digital, commented: “Richard is widely regarded as one of the best digital industry experts in the North West so it’s a major coup to bring him to the Fluid Digital board. The agency is going from strength-to-strength but Richard’s invaluable expertise will enhance Fluid’s offering and support the further growth we want to achieve.”

Richard is the former managing director of digital agency Latitude, one of the biggest in the North. He is also chair of the Tech North Advisory Board and a co-founder of the SASCon digital marketing conference.

Award-winning e-commerce agency Fluid Digital was established nine years ago and helps retailers and wholesalers grow sales online through Magento development and pay-per-click marketing services. Fluid has clients nationwide and has its HQ in Bury and a second office in Manchester City Centre.
