Fluid Digital Shortlisted for UK Ecommerce Awards 2019

The team at Fluid Digital are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for four awards at the UK Ecommerce Awards this year! Our Magento and PPC team have worked tirelessly over the past year, producing fantastic results for our clients. We are excited that this hard work has been recognised by the judges at the UK Ecommerce Awards…

Shortlisted awards

First of all, we have been shortlisted for two ecommerce website categories. Our work with All Pond Solutions has seen us shortlisted for the DIY, Home, Furniture & Interior Design Ecommerce Website of the Year award. We have also been shortlisted for the B2B Ecommerce Website of the Year award for our work with fashion wholesaler Whispering Smith.

But that’s not all. We have also been shortlisted for UK Ecommerce Search Campaign of the Year award, after our PPC team worked alongside Moda Furnishings to produce a luxury PPC campaign for high-end garden furniture.

Last, but certainly not least, we have been shortlisted for the coveted UK Ecommerce Agency of the Year award. Each and every member of our team and our clients have worked exceptionally hard this year to earn this nomination.

UK Ecommerce Awards

The awards will be presented on Wednesday 6th of March during a gala dinner at The Montcalm Marble Arch in London. The event kicks off with a drinks reception to welcome guests, followed by a three-course meal. Following the meal, the awards ceremony will take place, before the evening is brought to a close with some entertainment.

If you own an ecommerce business, ecommerce agency or are simply interested in the world of ecommerce, be sure to book tickets to the awards soon to avoid missing out!

Judging process

As you would expect, the judging process for prestigious awards like these is long and complex. It all starts with the entries, which relate to work undertaken between September 2017 and December 2018. All entry forms are read and pre-scored by the team of judges, which is then combined to give an overall score. The highest scoring entries determine the shortlists, which were announced on the 18th of January.

The judging panel

The shortlisted entries are then judged by a respected panel of industry leaders and experts, with a wealth of experience in the world of ecommerce. The panel is fairly large to gain a wider range of perspectives and includes industry greats, such as:

  • Cristina Afonso – Head of customer success at Nosto UK/IE
  • Michael Ashworth – Co-founder and managing director at Nublue
  • Dan Baker – Digital, marketing, ecommerce & analytics consultant
  • Luke Flomo – Head of ecommerce at Trustly
  • Emma Forward – Freelance ecommerce consultant
  • Richard Gibbons – Global ecommerce customer development director at Kellogg’s
