Fluid Digital is an multi award-winning Magento e-commerce agency looking to hire a senior UX / UI designer to head up their creative team.
Role Overview
As lead designer at Fluid Digital you will report directly to the managing director and be responsible for all UX / UI design work carried out by the agency. Working with multi-million pound e-commerce clients this role will cover all aspects of front-end discovery and design work and is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of an award-winning e-commerce team.
Responsibilities
- Design customer user journeys, wireframing and prototyping
- Create cutting edge responsive e-commerce user interfaces
- Attend discovery meetings and discuss design and functionality requirements
- Assist in creation of specification documents
- Create moodboard(s) which gather together ideas for colour palettes, imagery, stylings and ideas on how certain functionality may be displayed
- Create customer personas and develop site persuasion architecture
- Carry out front-end audits and suggest improvements based on experience and data
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge Required
Essential
- Minimum 3 years digital agency experience preferably working with e-commerce sites
- An outstanding portfolio of work
- Master of industry design software such as Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge and experience in optimising customer journeys
- The ability to solve problems with beautiful and simple design
Desirable
- Working knowledge of HTML / CSS
- Understanding of Google Analytics and how to analyse data
- Experience of customer psychology and user testing
