Hyvä Enterprise has changed – what does it mean for Adobe Commerce B2B Merchants?

Find out everything your B2B company needs to know about the Hyvä Enterprise changes from the experts at Fluid Commerce.

An important step forward

Hyvä has made a significant change to its Enterprise offering, and for B2B businesses running their ecommerce offering on Adobe Commerce, it is one worth paying attention to.

From July 2026, Hyvä Enterprise became an all-inclusive product suite for Adobe Commerce merchants. Rather than navigating separate Hyvä products and licences, the new proposition brings the Hyvä ecosystem together in a single Enterprise package.

That includes Hyvä Theme, Hyvä Checkout, Hyvä CMS, Hyvä UI and Hyvä Edge, alongside compatibility with the Adobe Commerce functionality that larger and more complex ecommerce businesses rely on.

As the technical director at B2B ecommerce agency Fluid Commerce, I think this is an important step forward for B2B merchants in particular.

Hyvä has already transformed what we can achieve with the frontend of a Magento or Adobe Commerce site. These latest changes make the proposition considerably clearer for businesses that want Hyvä’s performance and development benefits without sacrificing the more sophisticated functionality they rely on from Adobe Commerce.

But, as with any major technology decision, there are some important things B2B businesses need to understand before making the move.

What has changed with Hyvä Enterprise?

Previously, an Adobe Commerce merchant looking at Hyvä could potentially need to consider several different products and licences depending on what they wanted to achieve.

Hyvä’s new Enterprise model simplifies that considerably.

The new package is specifically designed for Adobe Commerce and includes the full Hyvä suite, along with support for Adobe Commerce functionality. That means businesses can access Hyvä’s storefront, checkout and content management capabilities as part of a more joined-up proposition.

For ecommerce teams, that makes the technology easier to understand and, importantly, easier to plan for.

The pricing has also been simplified. Hyvä Enterprise is now offered at a fixed €7,500 for the first year and €5,000 per year on renewal, rather than pricing varying according to factors such as GMV, traffic, or the number of storefronts.

For businesses operating multiple websites, store views or international storefronts from a single Adobe Commerce installation, that predictability can be particularly useful when calculating total cost of ownership.

Why does this matter for B2B ecommerce?

The performance benefits of Hyvä are well established, but B2B ecommerce is rarely just about making category and product pages faster.

A typical B2B Adobe Commerce implementation can involve company accounts, multiple buyers within an organisation, customer-specific catalogues and pricing, requisition lists, purchase orders, company credit and negotiated quotes.

On top of that, there are often integrations with ERP, PIM, CRM and other business-critical systems.

Historically, that complexity could make B2B businesses more cautious about changing their frontend. Improving performance is attractive, but not if it means compromising the workflows customers and internal teams depend on every day.

What we are seeing now is Hyvä providing compatibility for the Adobe Commerce B2B suite, including important functionality such as company accounts, shared catalogues, requisition lists, purchase orders and quote functionality.

For businesses that have previously considered Hyvä but decided their Adobe Commerce implementation was simply too complex, I think now is a very good time to reassess that decision.

Hyvä Enterprise doesn't make B2B complexity disappear

There is an important distinction to make here because greater compatibility doesn’t mean every B2B Adobe Commerce site suddenly becomes a straightforward migration.

In our experience at Fluid Commerce, B2B ecommerce implementations tend to accumulate significant amounts of business-specific functionality over time. A company may technically be using an Adobe Commerce feature such as shared catalogues or company accounts, but the way that feature interacts with its pricing model, ERP, customer data or ordering process can be unique.

That’s why a B2B Hyvä migration needs to start with understanding the business rather than simply installing a new frontend.

Before migrating, I would want to understand areas including:

  • Which native Adobe Commerce B2B features are currently being used and how heavily they have been customised.
  • Which third-party modules and bespoke extensions interact with the frontend.
  • How critical Adobe Commerce integrations such as ERP, PIM and CRM systems affect pricing, stock, accounts and ordering.
  • Which customer journeys generate the most revenue and therefore need particular attention during development and testing.
  • Where the existing frontend is creating friction, the migration gives us an opportunity to remove it.

That last point is particularly important and a Hyvä migration shouldn’t simply recreate an existing Luma storefront using newer technology. It is an opportunity to question whether the existing experience is still the right one for your customers.

B2B buyers expect better ecommerce experiences

As we frequently discuss on our Fluid Commerce blog, the expectations of B2B buyers have changed considerably.

Customers who use fast, intuitive ecommerce sites in their personal lives don’t suddenly lower those expectations when they log in to a trade account.

They still expect pages to load quickly. They expect search and navigation to work well. They expect ordering to be straightforward on mobile. And if they regularly purchase the same products, they expect the website to make repeat ordering as easy as possible.

At the same time, a B2B website often needs to handle considerably more complexity behind the scenes.

The marrying of those two distinct areas is where I see the real value of Hyvä for B2B.

It gives us the opportunity to combine the underlying capabilities of Adobe Commerce with a much faster, more modern frontend experience.

And because Hyvä has continued to expand its Enterprise B2B compatibility, businesses no longer have to view performance and sophisticated B2B functionality as competing priorities.

More than a faster frontend

It is also worth looking beyond Hyvä Theme when considering the new Enterprise package.

Hyvä Enterprise now brings together tools including Hyvä Checkout, Hyvä CMS and Hyvä UI. For larger ecommerce teams, those elements can have an impact beyond Core Web Vitals and page load times.

Hyvä Commerce, for example, is designed to make content creation and management more straightforward. That can give ecommerce and marketing teams more autonomy when creating and updating pages rather than relying on developers for routine content changes.

Hyvä UI provides a library of reusable interface components that can help development teams create consistent storefront experiences more efficiently.

Hyvä Checkout gives businesses another opportunity to simplify one of the most commercially important parts of the customer journey.

For B2B organisations, where ecommerce teams often have ambitious roadmaps competing for finite development resources, those efficiencies matter.

A good technology investment shouldn’t only improve the customer experience. It should make it easier for the business to operate and improve the site over time.

Fluid Commerce recently implemented Hyvä Enterprise for our client Cablecraft

At Fluid Commerce, we’ve recently had the opportunity to implement Hyvä Enterprise for our client, Cablecraft.

Cablecraft is a manufacturer and supplier of cables and cable accessories, serving customers who need a reliable and efficient way to find and purchase the right products online.

We’ve implemented Hyvä Enterprise as part of its ecommerce offering, and it has had an immediate positive effect.

We’re going to share much more about the project, the implementation, and the results in a forthcoming Cablecraft case study, so I won’t give too much away here.

What I can say is that it demonstrates exactly why we’re excited about Hyvä Enterprise for B2B businesses.

B2B sites can have extensive product ranges, complex customer requirements, and sophisticated integrations, but that shouldn’t mean accepting a slow or cumbersome buying experience.

What Hyvä Enterprise provides is another way to tackle that problem.

What should B2B merchants consider before migrating?

The new Hyvä Enterprise proposition makes the commercial and technical case easier to evaluate, but I wouldn’t recommend treating a migration as a simple theme replacement.

The first step should be a proper audit of your existing Adobe Commerce implementation.

Understand which features are native, which have been customised and which rely on third-party modules. Map the integrations touching the frontend. Look at how different customer types actually use the site rather than assuming every B2B buyer follows the same journey.

It’s also worth establishing what you want the migration to achieve; performance will usually be one objective, but it shouldn’t necessarily be the only one.

Perhaps your trade customers struggle to place orders on mobile devices. Perhaps your ecommerce team relies too heavily on developers to make content changes. Perhaps repeat ordering takes too many steps. Or perhaps years of frontend customisation have made development slower and increasingly expensive. A Hyvä front end can help with those areas.

Those objectives should influence how the Hyvä implementation is approached.

There also needs to be rigorous testing around the workflows that matter most to the business. For a B2C site, a relatively conventional browse-to-checkout journey may account for most transactions. With B2B, there can be many more routes to an order.

A buyer might need B2B ecommerce features to build requisition lists, request a quote, order against company credit, or purchase from a customer-specific catalogue. Those journeys need to be understood and tested as complete business processes.

Is now the right time to migrate a B2B Adobe Commerce site to Hyvä?

For many businesses, I think the argument for a Hyvä migration has become significantly stronger.

Hyvä Enterprise now offers a much clearer proposition for Adobe Commerce merchants, while Hyvä’s B2B compatibility has matured to the point where businesses with sophisticated requirements can seriously consider moving away from legacy frontend technology.

That doesn’t mean every Adobe Commerce business should immediately migrate and I believe the decision still needs to be based on your existing implementation, business requirements, integrations, roadmap and expected return on investment.

But if you’ve previously dismissed Hyvä because you assumed it couldn’t accommodate the complexity of your B2B ecommerce operation, it’s worth looking again because the technology has moved forward considerably.

B2B Hyvä expertise matters

Fluid Commerce specialises in Hyvä development for B2B companies and we’re a Hyvä Gold Partner.

For us, the important part of that isn’t simply being able to build a Hyvä frontend. It’s understanding the B2B systems and processes sitting behind it.

A successful B2B migration means understanding how ecommerce connects with pricing, customers, stock, fulfilment, account management and the wider technology stack. It means knowing which functionality Hyvä Enterprise can handle out of the box, where compatibility work is required, and where bespoke development will genuinely add value.

Most importantly, it means building something that makes life easier for the people who actually use it.

The changes to Hyvä Enterprise give Adobe Commerce merchants a compelling new foundation to work from. For B2B organisations that have been waiting for the right time to modernise their frontend, this could be it.

And we’ll have more to share soon about what that looks like in practice with our Cablecraft Hyvä Enterprise case study.
