The Gecko Shopify Plus project involved specialist development by Fluid Commerce to provide the customised features the client required from their B2B ecommerce store.
Gecko is a leading wholesaler of jewellery, supplying brands such as Laura Ashley with a range of stunning products. After being established in London in 1991, Gecko has grown to be one of the largest jewellery suppliers in the UK.
Gecko has been a client of Fluid Commerce for several years and we have provided ongoing support for their B2B ecommerce needs, helping the company to secure significant online growth.
In 2025, Gecko came to their Fluid Commerce account manager with a new ecommerce project they wished to upgrade their existing B2B online store and customer portal and wanted advice and guidance from us about the right platform for their level of growth. After discussing a number of different options with Gecko, Shopify Plus was chosen as the most suitable platform.The company was switching its ERP system to Zoho, which can be easily integrated with Shopify Plus via its in-built connector.
As a Shopify for B2B specialist agency, we were happy to provide expert support to Gecko to help them with the project. We also have a deep understanding of the company and its requirements due to our specialist expertise in the B2B ecommerce market.
Gecko’s brief for Fluid was for our Shopify Plus development service to create the customised B2B features required by the company’s customers when purchasing from them. The company also wanted our expert guidance by their launch partner for their new Shopify Plus online store, to ensure there would be minimal disruption for their customers and online revenue.
Launch a new or upgraded Shopify B2B online store
As a B2B merchant, Gecko had some complex requirements from their Shopify Plus online store that they required our Shopify development team to handle for them.
Gecko asked Fluid Commerce to deliver customised B2B features for the new Shopify Plus site that covered account management, pricing and checkout to ensure their customer had access to the tools they needed to make purchases.

The team at Gecko is delighted with the Shopify Plus development they have received from Fluid Commerce for their B2B online store. The site was launched in February 2026 and has a fresh look and feel that is being received well by customers.
While it is early days for the new Shopify Plus store, we hope to be able to soon share reports on the site’s ecommerce conversion and revenue performance.
