September Saw A Host of Website Launches

September has been one of the busiest months of the year for the team at Fluid Digital. As well as our two new team members settling in, we’ve had plenty of work to be getting on with.

It’s been tough, but we have managed to successfully launch THREE new websites this month!

First up, we have the brand new website for the Northern Digital Awards, which is being launched by Don’t Panic Event Management, and Prolific North. To be held in Leeds in January 2015, the awards will recognise the best of digital marketing the north has to offer. The website needed to be functional and simple to use, whilst promoting the awards and enabling people to enter and buy tickets. We designed and built the site ready for its launch this month, complete with eCommerce functionality.

September also saw the launch of the new Moda Furnishings Australian website. Moda are Fluid Digital’s first ever Australian client, and it has been a pleasure to work with them on their new Magento ecommerce site. They wanted a clean and highly functional online store to showcase their wide range of outdoor furnishings. Our design incorporates a clean, monochrome colour scheme, and the site was built on the Magento Community platform.

Finally, we have also launched the new Grout Doctor site this month. Based here in Bury, Grout Doctor are specialists in grout and silicone. They needed a website to promote their growing business, showcase their work and highlight the glowing reviews from their many satisfied customers. Built using the CodeIgniter framework, the new site highlights Grout Doctor’s service offering, showing ‘before and after’ images as well as customer testimonials.

Alongside all of these new website launches, we’ve recently learned that we’ve been commissioned to build a new Magento eCommerce site for an American furniture store too. With clients in the US and Australia, Fluid Digital truly are going international!
