Fluid Digital Appoints a New Account Director & Senior Magento Developer

To support our continued growth, we have now appointed two new senior roles to our team. Carl Walker joins us as an Account Director and Haroon Nadeem also joins the team as a Senior Magento Developer.

Carl will be responsible for overseeing and leading existing client services for our ecommerce clients which include Moda Furnishings, Trutex, Whispering Smith and handmade designer jewellery brand Chlobo.

He joins from software company MPP Global but worked as an account manager at Fluid between September 2016 and March 2018 when it was previously based in Bury. Carl joined MPP to be closer to his Warrington home but as we are now based in Manchester City Centre with improved transport links he felt the time was right to re-join the team he loved working with in a more senior role.

Haroon, who joins from national footwear retailer Footasylum, will develop Magento websites for our existing and new clients that will enable them to achieve sales and revenue growth. He will be one of the lead developers in Fluid’s now eleven-strong Magento development team and as well as leading client projects will help to train and develop more junior developers.

Haroon has also previously worked at Fluid for a short spell from May 2018 to August 2018 however due to family reasons he wanted to be based in his home town of Rochdale so took up a position with Footasylum’s Rochdale-based web development team. However, with Fluid continually adding to their Magento developer numbers he hoped one day to return and the time is now right for him.

Adam Hindle, Managing Director of Fluid Digital commented: “Both Carl and Haroon have the skills we need and the knowledge of our business to hit the ground running. I’m thrilled to welcome them back to the team as they are keen to take leading roles in growing the business through quality services.”

Carl commented: “I’m delighted to come back to Fluid. I’d kept in touch and followed the company’s progress and when the opportunity came up to return in a position that would give me more control over the direction of client services I jumped at the chance. I’m excited to be part of helping Fluid create a best in-class offering and working with our clients to create growth focused ecommerce strategies.”
