The client

Best4Flooring is an online flooring specialist, supplying vinyl, laminate, porcelain and lino flooring internationally to the public and trade.

The brief

Best4Flooring’s business – on and offline – is run entirely through Magento. It was essential that the ecommerce platform was upgraded and improved in order to allow the company to scale up and operate as effectively as possible.

The Best4Flooring team wanted:

  • Magento 1 to Adobe Commerce migration
  • Redesign and modernise the design of their online store
  • Increase transactions and revenue

To further grow the Best4Flooring business, we took over their PPC strategy, which had been poorly run by previous agencies. 

This included:

  • Optimising the existing Google Ads campaigns
  • Developing a new Microsoft Advertising strategy

Finally, Best4Flooring approached Fluid Commerce with a challenge to test Paid Social as a paid channel to drive revenue.

The work

Adobe Commerce (Magento 2)

Following an in-depth discovery, research and planning period, we produced a fresh, CRO and UX-optimised design in line with the company’s brand.

The site’s new design is clean, easy to navigate and clearly communicates the brand’s USPs.

We also created custom delivery messaging to provide anticipated delivery dates. Delivery messaging was made more prominent to provide transparency and infuse trust in the customer.

Integrations

As part of the Magento 1 to Adobe Commerce 2 migration, we included key integrations with Amasty Elastic Search, Mailchimp, Reviews.io, Braintree and Klarna.

We overhauled the retailer’s Google Ads campaigns across Search and Shopping and developed a new Microsoft Advertising structure to maximise multi-channel growth opportunities.

Paid Social

To begin, we conducted an in-depth research process:

  • Account audit
  • Tracking and event analysis
  • Creation of multiple audience personas
  • Competitor analysis

From this, we determined that gearing the account activity to a more performance based approach was key. 

We created campaign content tailored to specific audiences. With eye-catching visuals and ‘Instagram-worthy’ imagery, we strategically amplified the brand’s message and captured audience attention.

Since launching the new Adobe Commerce site, the site has seen (year on year):

  • +145% Sessions
  • +41.5% Conversion Rate
  • +246.7% Transactions
  • +230.5% Revenue

The Magento upgrades UX and CRO improvements have more than doubled the traffic to the site. This traffic is also much more likely to convert, buying more items and spending more on those items.
